Bar-B-Que, includes chicken, pulled pork, hamburgers, corn on the cob and hot dogs.

A dinner for two at award winning Bacco Restorante in Southfield and an afternoon sailboat cruise and dinner from the Detroit Yacht Club will be among the live auction items.

The cost is $10 per person and children five and younger are free. This is a No Alcohol Family Event to raise awareness to children and their parents on the dangers of substance abuse.

Picnic proceeds benefit the building of a substance abuse transition facility in Co-Operation with Livonia Save Our Youth Coalition, St. Mary Mercy Hospital, Botsford Hospital Foundation and Safari Club International S.E. Chapter of Michigan Bowhunters.

Richard Asztalos, President of CDS Foundation stated: "Our first goal of $500.000 is now at 1/3 complete, within this past year. Everyone I talk to thinks our facility on Tino's beautiful 37 acre farm where he died in a tragic accident with his tractor, will serve the community well and more importantly, if it can save one person, it can save a family".

"Once a family member, son, daughter, husband, wife or friend is in trouble with a substance addiction, the whole family suffers," Asztalos said. "We are in an epidemic of substance abuse and lives are being lost from brain damage, suicides, over doses resulting in death. We have to be aware, stop the denial, not my kid, it's their friends or where the go to school, it's just easier to blame. To learn about awareness, come to our Picnic Event, pick up literature speak to members of Livonia Save Our Youth Coalition who supports our Tino's Farm Project. Learn what you can do for those you love. Find out what a Pharm-Party is. Learn what to ask your children."
