LAFAYETTE, La., Sept. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas EquuSearch along with the local business community has announced a family fun day benefit that will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blackham Coliseum.  Proceeds from the event will fund the private search of missing University of Louisiana Lafayette student Danielle Wright and the 6 other missing crew members of the Nina, a historic 70' yacht which has been missing at sea for over 90 days.

Many local groups have donated their time and talents to help the search efforts including Geno Delafose & French Rockin' Boogie, Travis Matte and The Kingpins, Mackenzie Bourg, Dustin Ray and Southern Grove, American Heart Band, Mike Dean, Shawn and Lance Band, Beau Young, and Jamie Bergeron & Kickin' Cajuns.

Live and silent auctions will go on throughout the day. Already donated are vacation getaways, hunting trips, fishing trips, a 2013 Honda Rancher ATV, and much more. Corporate sponsors are still needed to help underwrite this event.

After the live auction, Wright's parents Ricky and Robin will share more about search efforts and the faith that's carried them through this difficult situation.
