A New Social Currency? The Black Card of Clothing?

Clothing should be more than just fabric.

NEW YORK, Nov. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- What you wear is an ultimate expression of who you decide to be today. If you dress well it's safe to assume that you want the most out of life.

Oliver Palnau's clothing's benefits will be similar to a black card. In the coming months, wearing Palnau pieces will grant you select automatic discounts and perks in restaurants, clubs, and high end auto dealerships.

"The gentlemen who wear my pieces enjoy a certain caliber of lifestyle and I wish to add as much value as possible to their selection. We recently did a giveaway for Chuckie and Friends at Governor's Island and owners of Palnau pieces would receive automatic upgrades to VIP. We also surprised our clients with a complementary bottle of Dom Perignon to celebrate their purchases with their lovers."

The way the intended program would be structured rests on building strong alliances with complementary businesses.

If a luxurious hotel saw a gentleman walk in wearing a Palnau shirt they would immediately offer him a special upgrade and complementary champagne bottle sent to their room based on a previously negotiated deal with Oliver Palnau.

The way partner businesses win is that Palnau clients are more inclined to use their products and services. The way Oliver Palnau wins is the embedded value in his shirt offering to potential clients.

"My pieces are an investment in high quality that should not disappoint technically or socially," says Oliver Palnau. If my clients walk into a partner's facility I want them to be treated with a certain amount of respect from the very beginning.

Since he handles all distribution through his website so he can keep the integrity of his shirts under control. Palnau's original life plan was to study financial engineering so this wild concept kind of makes sense.

"This program will take some time to build long lasting partnerships but in the long run it will build an environment of trust for my clients that I have their backs wherever they go," says Oliver Palnau.
