Yacht Charter News From Ocean Independence

Three diverse superyachts have been listed for charter with Düsseldorf based Charter Director Adelheid Chirco

From Ocean Independence Magazine

OCI started the year with the sale of a distinctive motor yacht; the revamped 56.4m Halter Marine support vessel Amevi Surprise, brokered for the buyer by OCI's UK based New Build director Peter Thompson, she was built in 1981 and completely overhauled to ABS class at Quality Shipyards in 2004.

New Sales Listings
UK based New Build Director Peter Thompson lists the brand new Horizon 130, After You, in joint CA. This stunning, Florida based, 39.6m tri deck, delivered in 2008, has a high volume interior and sleeps 12 guests in 6 cabins.

Marc Haendle at OCI Palma lists the 35m Heliyachts ketch, Galatea, built in 1998 and refitted in 2006. This safe and steady steel-hulled cruiser sleeps 6 guests in 3 cabins and is now also available for charter with OCI. Also with Marc Haendle is the 25.8m, Atlantic 25 Bar.Co, an extremely seaworthy steel vessel with a transatlantic range. Bar.Co was delivered by Geta Genel Tasarin from Tuzla Turkey in 1991 and refitted 2007. She sleeps 7 guests in 4 cabins.

And finally, for sale with Peter Hürzeler, is the stylish 22.68m Ferretti 731 In Exile. Delivered in 2008, she has a walk-around fly bridge and cruises effortlessly at 30 knots and sleeps 8 guests in 4 cabins.

New for Charter
Three diverse superyachts have been listed for charter with Düsseldorf based Charter Director Adelheid Chirco. Starting with Arethusa (also for sale with OCI); delivered in 2008 she is the third hull from the now well established Nereids Yachts. At 47m, she sleeps 10 guests in 5 cabins in her chic, minimalist interiors and has full MCA commercial certification. Arethusa will be cruising the western Mediterranean for the 2009 season.

Then the 35m Heliyachts ketch, Galatea, built in 1998 and refitted in 2006, this steady and comfortable cruiser sleeps 6 guests in 3 cabins. Galatea is the only luxury sailing yacht that can legally pick up and drop off charters in Croatian waters.

And lastly the exciting and sporty 30.2m Bruce Farr designed Southern Wind Mrs Seven, the seventh hull in the yard's SW100 mini-series she features a raised salon and sleeps 8 guests in 4 cabins in her comfortable and elegant interior.
